Vaftsy Aryabhata

We began our endeavors by establishing a Civil Contracting Firm, ‘Aspire Constructions,’ in 2001, and gained a firm footing in our domain by forming sustainable relationships with clients like Bharat Forge and Kalyani Forge.
Soon enough, we moved beyond Contracting and expanded into turn-key design and installation services.
IS code-compliant designs, construction, and subsequent structural inspection are our forte.

In 2004, we branched into Electrical Design and Commissioning as an allied activity and established ‘System Engineers.’
Control system design, electrical refurbishing, complete electrical design, and Green Field commissioning; these multitude of activities are handled by a talented group of Engineers headed by Mr. G.R. Patil (Ex-Indian Air Force, B.E. E & TC, COEP 1976, MBA Operations, PU)
In 2007, we added Mr. Vinaay Patil (M.S Mech, Univ of Texas AR, USA) to our expanding team and established ‘Vaftsy CAE.’
This gave us a foothold in detailed design and analysis using the Finite Element Method. Delivering on its promise of cutting-edge technology, Vaftsy has become a trusted name with clients worldwide.

Beginning of 2022, we embark on a new journey of integrating all the verticals into a single entity — ‘Vaftsy Aryabhata.’

Our teams are already working in sync on several overlapping projects. As we Integrate into Vaftsy Aryabhata, we intend to deliver a one stop solution for our clients, using next gen Engineering solutions.

Leadership Team

Rahoul Jagtap

Civil Engineering Specialist
BE Civil (Bharati Vidyapeeth), 1992

Mr. Rahoul Jagtap, was instrumental in the completion of civil work for forging presses, during his stint at Bharat Forge from 1992- 2001

Subsequently, he established Aspire Constructions – an engineering contracting firm working in Industrial Civil work.

He is a specialist in heavy machinery foundations, all weather proof factory floor construction, and overall construction management.

G R Patil

Electrical and Control System Specialist
BE E & TC (COEP), 1976
MBA Operations (Pune University), 1982

In his stint with the Indian Air Force, he was involved with installation of first and second generation RADAR facilities across India.

Subsequently, in the private sector, he joined Bharat Forge, and worked with Open Die Forging presses. He was involved in the import and technical installation of ZDAS presses.

In 1997, he joined TEXMACO group Indonesia on a project to commission new forging presses from greenfield stages

In recent years, he is an active consultant for Rajkumar Forging and Western India Forging Ltd. He has advised on the refurbishing of control systems for Mackiel Ispat plant at Durgapur.

 

Vinaay Patil

CAE Simulation Specialist

Mr. Vinaay Patil has worked as an Industry Consultant for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) after establishing Vaftsy CAE in 2007.
 
His areas of expertise include, Thermo-Coupled Structural Fatigue, Random Vibration based Seismic Analysis and ASME Code based analysis of Static Equipments.
 
He is an active researcher having published over fifty papers in reputed conferences and journals with seven h-indexed and four i-10 papers. He also has mentored over fifty students for their masters thesis. He is also an active industry trainer for simulations having conducted sessions at firms like MAIRE, BROSE, Qatar Steel, etc.
